The idea of moral framing is a powerful concept to help you empathize with others. When is the last time you tried to reframe your thoughts through the lens of another?

As a district administrator, I wonder how to better use the idea of reframing to think about policies or initiatives I am proposing. Do I truly appreciate the moral / philosophical values that are driving the resistance or acceptance of an idea among students, parents, teachers, and building administrators?

I guess the only way to find out is to listen. I may not always agree, but at least I can understand. That understanding and reframing of the idea may help us get to common ground more quickly.
