#TedTuesday: Lessons about tradition from a little brown bag

Ted Talk: Rita Barreto

Kids eating lunch on a glacier.Last weekend, I set out on my family’s annual Spring Portage glacier trip. This trip has been one of the ways that I’ve shared my love of the outdoors and search for adventures with my children and friends.

This annual return gives perspective on the changes in my kids, the changes in the place, and creates a sense of anticipation as our adventure gets near.

This of course, this got my mind thinking about how do traditions fit into my teams at work. Do we have traditions? Are they positive or negative? What purpose do they serve?

These wondering lead me to a great TedTalk by Rita Barreto.
